Every stoner has wondered at one time or another why does weed smell? Usually this thought doesn’t go beyond a thought. I wanted to find out what’s the actual science behind, weed smell and potency.
This is what I found out. Weed is full of terpenes, which are organic compounds found in different plants. In a marijuana plant there are large amounts of terpenes. There are also a variety of different types of terpenes, which can all give off different odors. Typically the stronger the smell, the stronger the bud.
